Enphase Solar Energy is a Spanish company, founded in 2014, that sells solar panels to the government.
It recently won a €1.5 billion contract to provide solar power to the state of España.
The company has been expanding its solar portfolio and has a contract to supply electricity to some 3.5 million homes in the southern Spanish state of Alicante.
Enphase has been working on a $3.7 billion solar project in the Spanish city of Girona, where it expects to be able to produce 5 gigawatts (GW) of power.
Solar power isn’t the only solar energy industry emerging in Spain, with the number of solar projects and installations growing.
Envato Solar Power, a solar installer, announced in January that it was acquiring a 25% stake in the solar-powered company Solaris.
And in March, Spain’s government announced that it would invest $300 million to invest in a 10-megawatt solar farm in the country’s southern region of Castilla y León.
