By now, you’ve probably heard of the Tesla Model 3.
While the car has been a smash hit, Tesla hasn’t released any real information about how it’s being built.
With a production number expected in the tens of thousands, the company’s already had a rough go of it.
Now, it appears that the company has learned from its mistakes and is making a production car for the masses.
In a series of videos released by the company today, the automaker claims to have developed a prototype for a car called the Solar Car.
The vehicle uses a solar panel array to charge the battery in the vehicle, then a battery pack, and finally a generator.
The system produces up to 250kWh of electricity, which could help solve the massive demand Tesla sees in cities that have become increasingly energy-starved due to the recent global warming.
The video also details a number of other details, including the production process, which involves building a solar system from a variety of different materials.
Tesla claims that the car will be ready to take off by the end of 2019.
The company hopes to have the first production car on the road by 2020, though we’ll have to wait until then to find out if that will actually be the case.
